OPTIMIZED ENERGY SPONGE + CHINESE TRACTION
= HYBRID TOUCH
Hybrid Touch: Combination of a slightly sticky chinese-style top rubber with a completely newly developed tension-loaded sponge structure (Optimized Energy Sponge Technology) made in Germany. For optimized ball contact and improved energy transfer at the point of impact.
MAXIMIZE YOUR SPIN - CONTROL YOUR OPPONENT

OPTIMIZED ENERGY SPONGE TECHNOLOGY
- Fine-pored sponge structure with thick cell walls, small cell structure and maximum elasticity in three versions:
A1: 52.5°, A2: 50°, A3: 47.5° - Maximum energy efficiency: hardly any energy loss when the ball hits the ground and is subsequently catapulted out.
- Due to the highly elastic sponge structure, the BLUESTAR plays relatively softly and very dynamically despite the hard sponge.
- With the new technology, the blue sponge of the BLUESTAR compensates for the low dynamics of comparable rubbers manufactured in China with an extremely grippy surface.
The higher the pretension of the sponge, the more spinelastic the sponge and the greater the speed
PIMPLE GEOMETRY
BLUESTAR SERIES (in mm)
- Cylindrical structure of the knob heads, low knob height, thick top rubber
- Relatively small distances between the knobs (0.8mm), with an average knob length of 0.7mm
- High flexibility of the pimple heads, which in combination with the highly elastic sponge structure enable a high degree of dynamics and speed
- Geometry, which optimizes the ball impact point and results in maximum precision feel
The shorter the pimpleheads and the narrower the arrangement, the larger the contact surface and the greater the rotational development
TOPSHEET BLUESTAR
NANOGRIP SURFACE STRUCTURE

- Innovative nanogrip surface structure with high attraction forces (Chinese Traction)
- In combination with the flexible pimple heads, this leads to improved ball coupling at the point of impact
The better the ball coupling, the higher the grip and rotation development and the greater the precision
ADVANTAGES BALLCOUPLING
- High rotation values for spin and counterspin
- Outstanding ball feedback for pinpoint performance
- Highest dynamics and ball acceleration
- Breathtaking arc in the most difficult situations

BALLTRAJECTORY COMPARISON
The greater the spin development, the more extreme the downward arc of the TT ball
Spin Development and Arc – Bluestar A1, A2, A3
In the arc comparison, the Bluestar A3 shows the least arc at the same speed and lowest sponge hardness, while the A1 with the highest degree number offers the strongest downward curve. The Bluestar A2 with 50° hardness is in the golden centre.
Due to the stronger ball curve, maximum speed balls can still be played onto the table. However, this requires an appropriate level of technique and therefore a lot of training.
The harder the rubber, the greater the spin development. At a constant speed, more spin leads to an increased flight curve curvature. Due to the stronger downward curvature, balls can be played precisely over the net and onto the table.
- The A1 version is recommended for ambitious players with the appropriate technical requirements.
- The softer Bluestar A2 and Bluestar A3 versions are also suitable for allround players in the lower classes due to the longer ball contact time and improved ball feedback.
The lower the degree of the rubber, the softer the ball impact, regardless of the pimple geometry.
The higher the degree of hardness of the sponge, the more spin the rubber can develop with the appropriate level of technique and play.
