Glossary: Rubber Technologies

A large-pore sponge provides a particularly strong catapult effect. This gives the rubber excellent dynamic performance and a softer playing feel. The trajectory of topspin shots follows a higher arc, resulting in a more pronounced curve.

In the topsheet, long, thin pimples provide a slightly softer playing feel and more speed.

Version 1 rubbers are hard and fast

Version 2 rubbers represent the perfect balance. They are medium-hard rubbers offering an excellent combination of speed and control

Version 3 rubbers are very soft and provide outstanding feel and control

BIG SLAM versions are ultra-soft rubbers with an outstanding sound
