SPO Rouen Tennis de Table stands for tradition, continuous development and a strong connection between top-level sport and club life.
Founded in 1955 as the table tennis section of Stade Philippin Omnisports, the club has grown over the decades into one of the leading
names in French table tennis.
A major milestone came with promotion to Pro B in 2010. Seven years later, Rouen won the French Pro B title and earned promotion to
Pro A, the highest level of French team competition. Since then, the club has established itself among the leading teams in the country.
The greatest success in the club’s history to date came in 2026 with its first French Pro A team championship title. In the final,
Rouen defeated GV Hennebont 3–2 in front of its home crowd at the Kindarena, completing a long-term journey to the top of French
table tennis.
A distinctive feature of the club is its strong connection with its supporters. Home matches at the Kindarena have become an important
part of SPO Rouen’s identity, combining top-level table tennis with a unique event atmosphere. At the same time, the club places great
emphasis on youth development and has built a strong reputation for training young players.
DONIC also has a long-standing connection with SPO Rouen. Since 2015, the club has been part of the DONIC Family, with DONIC serving as
an official equipment partner. The partnership reflects shared values such as continuity, quality and the ambition to combine elite
sport with sustainable youth development.
With its journey from a regionally rooted club to the top of the French Pro A, SPO Rouen TT embodies key values of the DONIC
Family: passion, long-term development, strong youth work and the ability to make table tennis an experience shared with the fans.
