TG 1953 Langenselbold community, the club has grown over the decades into a broad-based organisation combining youth
development, recreational sport and competitive table tennis under one roof.
The club’s sporting development has been built steadily over many years. In particular, its men’s teams progressed step by
step from regional competition up to the Regionalliga. Another important milestone came in 2009 with the construction of
the club’s own table tennis hall, creating new opportunities for training, youth development and the organisation of high-level events.
A new chapter in the club’s history began in 2026. Following TSV Langstadt’s withdrawal from top-level German women’s table
tennis, TG Langenselbold took over its playing rights in the German Women’s Bundesliga. The transfer was approved by the
Hessian Table Tennis Association and the German Table Tennis Association on the basis of a convincing sporting, organisational
and infrastructural concept. As a result, Langenselbold made its debut in Germany’s highest women’s league in the 2026/27 season.
This step highlights the long-term development of the club. Its existing infrastructure, experience in organising high-level
events and strong commitment from volunteers provided an important foundation for taking on responsibility at the highest level
of German women’s table tennis.
At the same time, TG Langenselbold remains firmly rooted in a broad club structure. Numerous teams, active youth development
and a lively club community continue to shape its identity and combine ambitious competitive sport with strong local club life.
DONIC also supports TG Langenselbold as an equipment partner. The cooperation reflects shared values such as quality, continuity
and the ambition to develop table tennis sustainably.
With its journey from a regionally rooted club to taking on responsibility in the German Women’s Bundesliga, TG Langenselbold
embodies key values of the DONIC Family: passion, reliability, long-term development and a shared enthusiasm for table tennis.
